Hello and welcome to Mr.Prior’s Science class!! This should be a fun and exciting year for you, as we will have many fun labs and activities to explore the world around us. Here is a list of some of things we will be studying this year:

 

• Measurement using the metric system. The students will learn about the SI system of measurement using mass, density and volume
• Biology - Cells: What they do and how they function
• Chemistry – Atoms and matter are the focus here.
• Astronomy – We will explore the planets and other objects in space
• Waves - and their interactions

 

Students should have the following materials everyday:

 

• A pen or a pencil
• Computer
• Any other materials that may have been to assigned to them
