Task Force

Inspiring spaces is a task force that interests me and I would love to learn more about. This year I added standing work stations to my classroom and saw a difference in some students abilities to focus and work independently. Adding pillows and a bean bag chair allowed students to be more comfortable while working and reading around the classroom and gets them out of their desks! Redesigning classroom spaces to cater to students learning preferences and comfort, would obviously benefit students, giving them choice and freedom to learn in a space that works for them.

As a member of this task force I would definitely be eager to experiment with different spaces and options for students both inside and outside the classroom. Specifically I would like to focus on the hallways outside of our classrooms and create a more useable work space for students.

Visual Representation of DT's

This year I am hoping to discuss and try new learning tools that will enhance my teaching, and my students learning. Having these tools introduced and modeled would be ideal so teachers can use these resources and new knowledge to engage students in blended learning. Our visual representation emphasizes our desire for a selection of tools and ideas that are modeled, and easily implemented into our teaching.
