The Healthy Spot School Based Health Center (SBHC) at Begich Middle School is now open and seeing patients!
The SBHC provides on-site medical services at school that include immunizations, comprehensive physicals, and treatment of illnesses during the school day. Parents can register their students with the Anchorage SBHC by completing the forms below and turning those forms in to the school nurse. These forms and more information are also available at school or at the Anchorage SBHCs website.
The Anchorage School Based Health Centers (SBHCs) are a partnership between the Anchorage School District and Christian Health Associates. While we do bill for visits for physicals and treatment of minor illnesses and injuries, we serve families regardless of ability to pay and discount services based on income and family size. Immunizations are free. Using the SBHC is convenient for parents, who do not need to worry about taking time off work or arranging transportation to take their child to the doctor. Our goals are to:
