What's Happening in the Library

Library Volunteers Welcome and Needed

Library volunteer opportunities include shelving books, helping kindergarten and first grade students find books, preparing books for processing to go on the shelf for check out, and other projects that arise.

Box Tops For Education

Aquarian saves Box Tops from this program and the money goes to the library. Download the app here to scan grocery store receipts to credit our Aquarian account for items that don't have a physical box top. Receipts can also be turned in to the "Box Tops for Education" container outside the office and your receipt will be scanned for you. Thank you for your contributions and keep (or start) scanning those receipts!

Checking Out

The library follows the A, B, C, D block schedule like the other specialists at Aquarian.

Students visit the library once every four days with their class for 45 minutes.

There's a drop box outside the library where materials can always be returned.

No materials may be checked out if a student has any overdue items.

If a student is late returning library materials, they can "save" something for one day.

Kindergarten and 1st grade can check out 1 book at a time.

2nd grade can check out 2 items.

3rd - 6th grade can have up to 3 things out.

The Aquarian library catalog can be accessed here. Books can be found and put on hold.
