All my paintings are done on corrugated cardboard. With the use of a utility knife, I cut through the top layer of the cardboard and expose the inside layer of corrugation. The exposed corrugations can be placed horizontally, vertically or diagonally depending on the painting. I like the corrugation to play it's own part in each painting. Some of my favorite paintings are the ones that give the impression that something is inside the cardboard and it is just waiting to be seen.
