SUYIN WAI - ARTIST STATEMENT
To quote Shakespeare: Brevity is the soul of wit. Thus, the most challenging part of creating or doing anything artistic, at least for me is the structure and the creative process. It starts with an idea, then, I research by looking for more information on the subject. At times, I work out the kinks with sketches. As I begin to paint or draw, my work takes shape. Once the final art piece is done and I am satisfied, I stop.
