From the Wildwood Library!

Spring has sprung and we are busy in the library!

6th graders are creating stories using Stikbot and Stop Motion Technology.

Many grades are focused on INQUIRY and RESEARCH: WW Library Research

5th graders are examining primary sources.

4th graders have created their own inquiry question and they are currently ORGANIZING to present their findings.  3rd graders are in the midst of animal research. Here’s real  quote from a 3rd grade student: "When you said we were starting this project I thought it would be hard and boring.  It is hard but it is fun too!" Kindergarteners are working on their dinosaur facts and pictures too!

In 1st and 2nd grade we are learning how the library is organized so that we can investigate topics that are most interesting to us!  Have you noticed more nonfiction books coming home on library day?

WE LOVE NONFICTION IN THE WW LIBRARY!

Happy Reading, Susan Wells
