Ghosts and Cultural Appropriation

After reading Ghosts by Raina Telgemeier and learning about cultural appropriation in our 6th grade Library & Technology class a few students wanted to help educate our younger students about Day of the Dead and the controversy that surrounds the popular graphic novel (Read more about it here: 
American Indians in Children's Literature (AICL))
We are proud to present this work which was conceived of by students and filmed and edited entirely by them during their enhancement time. Here is their product:
