About the Last Blast Event
Each year, on the evening of graduation, the Last Blast event is launched to give the graduates one last night of communal celebration.  This year's Last Blast is the night of June 3rd.

The Last Blast is organized by parents -- some whose children are about to graduate, and others who left some years ago.  Senior parents are involved in all aspects of the preparation, but can not chaperone the night of the event.

During the spring, there will be a series of meetings to plan and fund raise.  Please feel free to join us!    Meetings are the 2nd Thursday of each month, from 7-9pm in the Guidance Classroom at AHS -- across from the Lowe Auditorium.

In order to be successful, we need your support.  Both financially and with help setting up, chaperoning, etc.

Making a Donation
Contributions are gratefully accepted.  Please make checks payable to "AHS Graduation Party" and mailed to:

Helping at the Last Blast

We definitely need your help.  This is really an opportunity for you to have fun!!!  Many parents don't volunteer until just before their children are seniors (and you can help in lots of ways then, but you can't be a chaperone), and they realize they should have done it sooner!  Believe it or not, the 1am-5am shift is really a blast.  Plus, since graduation is on Saturday this year, you don't have to be stumbling around work on Monday.

To volunteer to help, please click here.

For more information on Chaperoning please contact Lori Pescatore (loripescatore@hotmail.com)

Last Blast chaperones are required to complete a CORI form.  Cori forms are valid for 3 years. Click here for the form.  Here are the procedures for the CORI form:

Options are:

Print out and sign. It must be signed in person which can be done:
  • at the High School office and tell them it is for the Last Blast.
  • at the High School Guidance Classroom (across from the auditorium, on Thursday May 26 from 6:45-9.
  • at Peirce Elementary any day -- ask for Susan Blomquist

You do not need to fill out the portion that says "The above information was verified by...."

We really appreciate your helping with the Last Blast and also with this necessary paperwork.
