Cynthia Grier Lotze


Cynthia Grier Lotze is currently at work on a book-length poem entitled Baedeker for Comets and recently returned from a residency at the Vermont Studio Center.  Her shorter poems can be found or are forthcoming in publications such as Harpur Palate, Babel Fruit, Versal, Opium and this Makeout Creek.   She has previously taught Literature and Writing at Virginia Commonwealth University and the University of Mary Washington.  Cynthia now teaches English at St. Catherine’s School in Richmond, Virginia and lives in Richmond’s Church Hill district with a brother and a cat.
