Authorized District Users

  • Log in using your State Active Directory (SSO) credentials. Your account must be setup in eSchoolPlus. Additionally, your district superintendent or assistant superintendent must first log in and add your account to the district's authorized users list.

District Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent

  • Log in using your State Active Directory (SSO) credentials. Your account must be setup in eSchoolPlus. Additionally, either job code 1000 or 1015 must be associated with your employee record in your district's FMS or eFinancePlus system.

School Principals

  • The e-mail address associated with your APSCN account must be registered as a Principal (Coordinator Code=P) in the SIS LEA Profile for your district.

 

The Assessment Correction Engine (ACE) interface will be available to all districts from July 31 through August 13 at the following link: https://adedata2.arkansas.gov/aceYou will be directed to the ADE Data Center to log in. District or School Level users should use their TRIAND login credentials to log in.

 

Please save these dates and prepare any evidence in the form of documentation.

 

Districts are strongly encouraged to review the percent tested information and enter any needed reason not tested codes and documentation as early as possible. Recently Arrived English Learner status (first year in the United States) may be reviewed and edited. If editing status to indicate a student is a Recently Arrived English Learner, be prepared to enter the student’s entry date. Only data for the 2017-2018 school year can be changed.

 

All data corrections must be supported by evidence in the form of documentation that is uploaded through the ESEA ACE interface. The reason not tested list and required documentation for ESEA ACE are attached to this memo.

 

After reason not tested codes and documentation have been entered, the ACE Home screen can be used to submit corrections. Then the Certification Form signed by the District Superintendent must be uploaded. Corrections can be submitted for the district after logging in to the ACE with a Superintendent TRIAND username and password. For questions about TRIAND log in and levels of access, please call your TRIAND Administrator or Angel Peugh at 501-682-5191.

 

The resulting post-appeal ESEA accountability information will become part of the data incorporated in the new accountability plan required by ESEA’s reauthorization, ESSA. The data will also be used in the School Performance Report Card and Rewards/Recognition calculations. Please use this time to make sure your data are as accurate as possible.

 

All corrections, including all required documentation, must be entered no later than 5:00 p.m., August 13, 2018.

This memo provides information on the process and requirements to participate in using the ACT Aspire Periodic Assessments for the upcoming school year at no cost to your district.  Please read the memo closely and note that you must complete the survey by July 27 if you would like to participate in the 2018-19 school year.

    Hope Allen's ACT Aspire Assessment July 21, 2015 webinar was recorded and housed on http://www.arkansased.gov/divisions/learning-services/assessment for future use. The PPT presentation has been uploaded at the bottom of this page.    Online Resources:
    ACT - available to all students in grade 11 only.  This is optional but is paid for by the state.  The ACT will be administered on March 1 with make-up on 
        March 15, 2016.  Chromebooks are not compatible to ACT at this time.  Registration information will be released soon.

The ADE and AETN’s Arkansas IDEAS rolled out the first Science of Reading online professional development course this week.  The “Science of Reading: The Right to Read Act” course was developed to assist teachers with meeting the requirements of Act 1063 that was passed by the Arkansas General Assembly in 2017.  To access the online PD, visit Arkansas IDEAS at ideas.aetn.org.
