This program meets the statutory needs of employers in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland needing at least one First Aid on the premises. It has been customised to UK Resuscitation Council basic life support protocols and nationally accepted first aid protocols

AquaPursuits is local First Aid training provider. We are committed to providing the outmost in customer service and can customize courses to meet your specific emergency response requirement.

The Emergency First Response CPR course follows the same sequence of priorities used by emergency medical professionals with regard to CPR and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) use.   Participants learn to stop, think and to evaluate the scene in terms of their own safety, skills and capabilities, and to then act on their evaluation.   Participants learn to perform a primary assessment by following the ABCD’S of the patient’s lifeline and to provide CPR when necessary.  To accomplish this, the course divides information regarding fundamental topics among four knowledge development sections, providing what is needed for the corresponding skills development and lays the foundation for subsequent study.

This optimizes learning because participants study, apply and incorporate each topic in stages, allowing greater retention because they learn the material in context with applying it. Participant self-study questions and questions found at the end of each chapter, the exam, skill development and scenario practice give you the tools to develop participant abilities and assess their mastery at each stage of the course.

Ask yourself the people you live with are generally your nearest and dearest - and yet how many of us could actually help a loved one if they had a heart attack, began choking or fell and injured their spine while out and about? Our Emergency Responder courses are designed to ensure that you'll not only enjoy your training, but most importantly that you'll be able to make a real positive difference if one of your family or friends falls ill.
