  1. Find the class you want to take by searching the online schedule at home.apu.edu.
  2. Add the class to your shopping cart.
  3. Process your shopping cart to actually register for the class.

  1. Ask your professor or the class department office for a code.
  2. If they give one to you, enter it in the "Permission Nbr" box when adding the class to your shopping cart.
  3. Process your shopping cart to actually register for the class.

  1. When adding a class to your shopping cart, check the "Wait list if full" box.
  2. Make sure that you have taken care of anything that would stop the waitlist from working properly for you.
  3. Process your shopping cart to try to register for the class.
  4. If the class is full, the system will put you on the waitlist.
  5. Wait for your turn for the waitlist to add you to the class.

  1. Find out how to read the degree audit screen.
  2. Before choosing your classes, make sure they are listed under the requirement you are trying to fulfill.
  3. After registering for classes, make sure that your degree audit screen looks the way you expected it to.

  1. Click the "Details" link in the Holds box on your Student Center at home.apu.edu.
  2. Read the hold description to see which office placed the hold and what you will need to do to clear it.
  3. If you still have questions, contact the office that is listed in the hold description.
