May Hoesing was a four-year varsity letter winner. During her career, Arlington won a District Champion title and finished third at the Class C State Tournament in 2017, two District Runner-up titles in 2014 and 2016, and had a combined win-loss record of 86-41 (.677 winning percentage)

As a senior, May was named 1^st Team Class C All-State in the Omaha World Herald and 2^nd Team Class C All-State in the Lincoln Journal Star. May was also named honorable mention in the Omaha World Herald in 2015 and 2016 and honorable mention in the Lincoln Journal Star in 2016.

In 2017, May was selected to play in the Nebraska Coaches Association All-Star softball game at Bowlin Field.

As a senior, May was named First Team NCC All-Conference in 2017. May was named NCC honorable mention in 2015 and 2016. May served as a team captain in 2017.
