Pictured above is the 7th grade championship team from the Middle School Tournament held in Scottsbluff in February!

The 7th Grade Boys Basketball team completed one of the best seasons in Alliance Middle School history this year. The A team finished with an undefeated record, 11-0. No team finished within 10 points of this squad. The A team excelled at being unselfish with the basketball and finding the open man. They played a physical, fast-paced style of basketball that led to many shot opportunities underneath the basket. Opposing teams struggled to stop the inside attack from the Bulldogs.

The B team finished with a record of 4-4. The B team was superb at hustling on defense. They had numerous steals and fast-break opportunities. The B team shot well from beyond the arc, leading to the creation of a special 3-point play for the whole team.

The C team finished with a record of 2-2. The C team was amazing at offensive and defensive rebounding and yelling "SHOT" when the ball went up. Their communication skills led to many defensive stops. They usually held their opponents to single digits.

The A, B, and C team student-athletes worked hard together as one team in practice. Every single student-athlete improved. The coaches encouraged the student-athletes to improve their defensive skills and fundamentals this off-season so that they can be even stronger next season. The coaches received several positive comments from other towns about how well the team behaved on and off of the court. The team represented themselves and the town of Alliance well. It's a GREAT DAY to be a BULLDOG!
