BioBlitz is like a giant scavenger hunt!  The 24-hour event brings together scientific experts and citizens to take an inventory of all living organisms in the area.

The main goals of BioBlitz 2013 are:
  • Bring together volunteers, scientific experts, and citizens
  • Estimate species richness of the SMNHC
  • Educate the public about biodiversity

Get Involved!  For more information please contact Rosie Norlander at (505) 281-5259 or
