The main focus of the SMNHC, are our school programs which reaches students across the state. Using the outdoors we teach students about the interconnectedness of the biotic and abiotic parts of an ecosystem with a hands-on scientific approach.
During the summer the Sandia Mountain Natural History Center offers specialized programs for scout groups, summer camps, and other outdoor enthusiasts.
