All WISD students are able to bring their own Internet enabled devices to school. This includes laptops, netbooks, smartphones, iPod Touches and any device that meets minimum system requirements. Students who choose to bring their own device will have access to a guest wireless network. With classroom teacher approval, students may use these devices in the classroom as part of their day to day activity. The MyWyFi program is actually a combination of wireless connectivity using a personal device and the implementation of web-based tools (such as Google Apps for Education) used within the curriculum.
The purpose of this site is to help staff, students and parents learn more about MyWyFi and how to access and use the different web-based tools found in Google Apps for Education.
