Though a satirist may be attacking a rival or personal enemy, he will usually claim to be – and indeed often will be – ridiculing some representative vice for the general benefit of mankind. A work or manner that blends a censorious attitude with humor and wit for improving human institutions or humanity. Satirists attempt through laughter not so much to tear down as to inspire a remodeling.

The Way October 30, 2015 Look through the lyrics of the songs which the director, Emilio Estevez, chose to include in the movie, The Way. These songs were played while the pilgrims were hiking nearly 500 miles along Spain's El Camino de Santiago. Select a song or parts of songs and explain with specific examples from the text why these songs fit with and develop the message of the movie. Please include a topic sentence, three lyric examples with explanations and a closing sentence. This should be a healthy 8-12 sentence paragraph.
