· The Twelve Apostles do not have twelve rocks there are only eight, but in the future it is likely to form more “Apostles” from other land.


· At sunrise and sunset the rocks turn into colors of sandy yellow and orange under a full sun.


· Cliffs next to the Twelve Apostles have sunk more than 80 ships, most were transporting workers to the Victorian gold fields, but they never made it past Shipwreck Coast!    
· The cliff is still being eroded at a rate of 2cm each year.

· The ocean the Twelve Apostles sit in is 20.327 million square kilometers.


·The Twelve Apostles Marine Park covers 17 kilometers of the coastline.


· The name was change from Sow and Piglets to the Twelve Apostles in the 1950s to represent the Biblical Twelve Apostles.

· Victoria has built boardwalks, tracks, and viewing areas of the Twelve Apostles.


· Thought it was thought that one of the stacks fell on September 25th, 2009 but it was revealed that it was one of the smaller stacks known as the Tree Sisters.


· On Sunday at 9:20 one of the stacks collapsed in 2005. Witnesses said that stack imploding into the water.


· About 1.7 million people visit the Twelve Apostles each year.


· There have  been nine rock stacks but now there are only eight.
