Meet our Student Teacher

Dear Parents and Guardians,

My name is Henry Huber and I will be Mrs. Prowell’s student teacher beginning this fall. I wanted to introduce myself as we begin the new school year and I am looking forward to the time ahead of us. I was born and raised in South Minneapolis and attended St. Olaf College through which I will have earned a Bachelor's Degree of Music Education in K-12 Music at the end of my student teaching. While at St. Olaf, I played percussion in the concert and jazz bands. I also sang in the freshman male chorus. I also have four years experience working with children of all ages in public schools and community summer camp programs. Besides playing music I enjoy riding bicycles, reading comic books, and exploring museums of all kinds!

I believe in providing students with the tools for understanding, creating, and appreciating music for a lifetime through joyful collaboration and discovery. I look forward to meeting your student and I’m excited to create wonderful music this fall. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Henry Huber

As of October 23, Mr. Huber is finishing his student teaching at Wayzata High School in the Band program. We wish him the best of luck!
