"I think music in itself is healing. It's an explosive expression of humanity.

It's something we are all touched by.

No matter what culture we're from, everyone loves music."

-Billy Joel

A bit about myself:

I graduated from the University of Minnesota, Morris with my Bachelor of Arts in

Instrumental & Classroom Music - Saxophone Performance.

I received my Master of Education in Teaching & Learning through

I have taught full time in South Washington County for 21 years, and previously long-term in the district for 5 years;  prior to that I was working in St. Paul, Stillwater & Valley Crossing Community School  (833, 834 & 622 collaborative school & at 15 Private Schools)

I love teaching band!

I am a tenor saxophone player with the Red Rock Swing Band.

In my free time, I love to travel, hike, kayak, bike ride, do woodwork/wood turning,
