Ms. Walus's Homepage

I was born and raised in Minnesota and have spent all but two years living here.  I graduated from Hastings High School in 1996.
After high school I attended the U of MN - Twin Cities.  In 2000 I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Fisheries and Wildlife - with a concentration in Wildlife Management.
After college I became a Peace Corps volunteer in Belize Central America.  I returned to the states after 2 years abroad and worked in various jobs with horticulture.
I received my teaching license in Life Science (9-12) through Hamline University and my Master's through Hamline as well. This is my fifth year at WHS.

I love being outdoors, working in my garden, taking photos of nature, hiking, spending time with my family and friends and husband Gary.  I have three pets that keep me busy, Lola is a Bernese Mountain dog and my cats Finn & Cricket.

The best way to reach me is by email, which I check all day,
