Welcome to Mrs. Love's 4th Grade Class Website!

This fun song explains when to use each of the homophones.

I am excited for another school year at Hillside Elementary!  This is my sixth year teaching.  Five of my years have been spent teaching fourth grade and I also taught one year of fifth grade.

I spend my free time reading, biking, spending time with my husband, family, and friends, listening to live music, and cooking.  I was born in Wisconsin, but moved to Eagan, Minnesota when I was five years old.  I graduated from Eagan High School and earned my undergraduate degree at UW- LaCrosse.  Additionally, I received my Master's Degree in Elementary Education from UW- River Falls.  I have stayed true to my Wisconsin roots and am proud Packer fan!  I have developed thick skin living most of my life in Minnesota!  I followed in my mom's footsteps by becoming a teacher.  As far as siblings, I have one older sister who is a nurse.  I do not currently have a pet, but am anxious to get either a Yorkshire Terrier or Dachshund in the future!

Communication and parental involvement are very important to me.  Together, we can make this a very successful year of academic and personal growth for your child!  I welcome phone calls and emails with questions or concerns.  I'm looking forward to a great year teaching your child!
