CGMS After School Programming

What is Cougar Clubs?

"Cougar Clubs" is CGMS's after school enrichment activities program offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school.  All CGMS students are encouraged to participate in one of the fun after-school enrichment programs which are designed to promote success through academic support and social development.  Transportation is available.

Session 1 of Cougar Clubs will run from September 20, 2016-December 8, 2016. Clubs will start at different points during this time. Please check the club meeting dates carefully.

Dear Parents/Guardians,

As many of you know, Cottage Grove Middle School has a robust after school program designed to help students achieve their goals and develop their academic skills. To those familiar with the program in the last few years, you will notice a few changes to this year’s after school programming.

This year we are excited to be offering the choice of many different clubs for students to choose from. Each club has an academic component designed to further students’ skills. We are collectively calling these clubs “Cougar College.”

Students can attend any clubs during the session. Clubs run Tuesdays and/or Thursdays, from 2:30-4:15 and they will start and end at various times throughout the session. If you have questions about the individual clubs, please contact me or the club moderator.

Busses will be available again this year and will leave CGMS at 4:15.

If you have any questions about our after school programming for 2016-2017, please contact Jillian Nordstrom at 651-425-6746 or jnordstr@sowashco.org.

Thanks for reading and we’re looking forward to a great school year!
