  • Maud Hart Lovelace and Star of the North Votes have been cast! 464 PreK-2nd grade students voted last week to help choose Minnesota's student choice picture book award!  The Star of the North Picture Book Award participants read or listen to the 10 nominees during the school  year and then vote on their favorite.  In a related note, 150 of our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students cast a vote to help students across the state choose the 2017 Maud Hart Lovelace Award Division I Winner.  Ms. Haugo will be LIVE on FBTV to announce the winning titles. Thanks to all of those who participated this year!

  • Genre Tasting! Third, fourth and fifth grade students are invited to join us in the media center to get a taste of some of our newer titles.
