Erin Kelly won first place for her poster educating people about the Emerald Ash Borer. She has been invited to be honored at Eagan's Arbor Day celebration on May 14th at the Art House. Each school in Eagan will have a representative and poster entry from their third graders. One of these finalists will be chosen to be used for the 2015 Arbor Day campaign.

At Woodland, second place went to Sara Boerger and third place to Nikitha Ganesan. Two special awards were also announced. Emily Campbell won the Forester's Choice award and Matthew Moore received an award for creativity.

Congratulations to these outstanding third graders!
Woodland would also like to thank the City of Eagan and Gerten's Greenhouse for replacing one of our ash trees with a new oak tree.
