This week the kindergarten and first grade classes got a visit from a local dairy farmer. Jenny from Sheehan Farm came and talked with the students about their dairy cows, and taught them what they eat and how they are taken care of, and how we get dairy products here at school. The students got to sample two cheeses – Swiss and Gouda. They participated in a vote on which cheese they like the best. Gouda cheese was the winner!
