This week was the Penny Challenge at Woodland. The students banded together with their grade to have the highest total at the end of the week. Pennies and checks added to a total. Silver change and dollars could be used to sabotage another grade.

Each morning students brought their contributions. As of Thursday, the school wide total was just over $1500. After a whirlwind of donations Friday morning, we raised $4691.98 for Woodland, every penny of which will go towards needs at the school. The Fundraising Committee would like to thank Bremer Bank who ran thousands of coins through their machine, making our job so much easier. And thanks to all of the generous donations from our Woodland families!

The 2nd graders were our overall winners! They will have a pajama day as well as an extra gym time. We will coordinate with the 2nd grade teachers to choose a date. Congratulations to the 2nd Grade!
