Dear Woodland Families,

Did you know there’s an easy way to help us raise money for our school?

It’s called Take Charge of Education®, and it’s helping our school right now. As a matter of fact, in February 2015, Woodland received a check from Take Charge of Education for $2,853.11! Our next check is at $3,792.00 and growing! Since the program began, Woodland has received a total of $48,191.06!

By simply shopping with the Target® card of your choice (Target Debit Card® ,Target Credit Card®, or Target® Visa® Credit Card) and designating our school, Target® will donate up to 1% of your purchases to Woodland – but you have to designate Woodland!*

You can participate in this program WITHOUT TAKING OUT A CREDIT CARD. You can get an interest free Target Debit Card® and save 5% on every purchase! The Target Debit Card® draws right from your existing checking account and you’ll always enjoy 5% off while raising money for Woodland.

Here’s how it works: Visit Target.com/tcoe or call 1-800-316-6142 to designate our school. Then, use your Target® card whenever you shop at Target® or Target.com. It is that easy!

Right now, 180 cardholders have designated Woodland as their school for Take Charge of Education. That is

up from 158 last year – but imagine how much money we could raise if we doubled or tripled that number! We have already seen an increase in our check of over 25% in the past year!

Grandparents, alumni, friends and neighbors are all welcome to participate in the Program – no matter where they live. The more people we involve, the harder the program works for our school.

Complete details are in the attached flyer.
If you’re already participating, thank you! Check out our school’s progress anytime at www.target.com/tcoe.

Our school ID is: 65344

*Although Target at recently announced that they are discontinuing the TCOE program, you can still participate until May of 2016.

Thank you for your consideration,
Lisa Carlson,Principal, Woodland Elementary School
