School psychologists help children and youth succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. They collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments for all students that strengthen connections between home and school.
  • At Southview Elementary the school psychologist is a member of the special education team who works with students, parents, and teachers in a variety of capacities.  The School Psychologist is involved in:

    • intervention planning and implementation
    • consultation with parents and teachers
    • crisis prevention and intervention
    • as well as being a resource to parents and school staff for many psychological, developmental, and educational issues.

During the 2015 - 2016 school year I am at Southview Mondays and Wednesday 8:00 - 4:00 and Friday mornings (8:00 - 12:00). I work as a member of the Elementary Evaluation team on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Friday afternoons. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns or for further information about services available for students at Southview!
