Greetings from the Library-
We are counting down to BOOK FAIR time! Mark your calendar for Friday, November 13th from 9am-10pm. Please note the change in location from past years to the EAGAN BARNES & NOBLE, due to the Apple Valley location closing last December.
This fundraiser is extremely important to our school and our annual sales have continued to grow. Last year we tallied approximately $18,000 in sales, which translates to approximately $5,000 in Barnes & Noble credit directly to the school for new and improved media throughout the school.
Please feel free to direct questions to Christine LaMott- who did such a wonderful job of organizing the annual Barnes &Noble Book Fair last year. If you are interested in volunteering feel free to email Christine at firstname.lastname@example.org or Kelly Robertson in the RP Library at email@example.com. We will also need 5th grade volunteers and will put out volunteer request information to classrooms in the coming weeks.
On another note, we'd like to make parents aware that if your child is absent on their library day or forgets their book they do not need to wait until their next library day to return materials and check out something new. Students are welcome in the library before and after school and during the school day with teacher permission.
