FREE Meals for Kids this Summer

The Summer Food Program provides free meals for ALL children.  It is funded by the Federal Summer Food Service Program and ALL children eat for free regardless of income.  Adults may eat for a fee.  More Information

Gertens Plant Card Fundraiser

Use Gertens Plant Cards to purchase plant material at Gertens Greenhouse in Inver Grove Heights and earn a little money for our PTO.
Option 1: The Pinewood PTO will earn 15% on every plant card you purchase with this order form. Due by Thursday, April 20th.
Option 2: The Pinewood PTO will earn 11% on every plant card purchased online. Plant cards purchased online will be mailed directly to you from Gertens.

Jump Rope for Heart Volunteers Needed

Carnival Volunteers Needed

It's time for the Pinewood Carnival!!  On Friday, April 7th Pinewood will be having its annual carnival for current students and families.  This event is a favorite by all and it takes many to help make it a success. Former students, parents, grandparents, neighbors and friends are all welcome to volunteer. Sign up here

Nature's Engineers

Nature's Engineers Day Camp 2017 is being offered to Gifted and Talented/Young Scholar students

Join the Band!

Are you a 4th grader and interested in being in 5th grade band?  I hope so! The Band Newsletter and Elementary Band Participation Form went home on February 21. Please read all the information provided and return the yellow participation form to the “Band Box” located outside of the Band Room by Monday, February 27th.  Mrs. Hoff will be meeting with the 4th graders to try out and choose their instrument in early March. Check out Mrs. Hoff’s Band Page located on the Pinewood website under specialists for more information including the Band Handbook

3rd Grade Instruments

The third graders are working on making their musical instruments and we do not need any more supplies.  Thank you to everyone who donated materials for this fun project.

Felt and Fiber Filling

A big thank you to everyone who donated yarn for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade projects! We are now in need of felt and fiber filling for a 5th grade sewing project. If you have any scraps laying around that you don't need, we would love to use them! 

Winter Conferences

Conference Scheduler will be will be available starting Thursday, January 19th.  Parents should sign up for their children's conferences as soon as possible.  If you are having trouble with signing up, please call the Pinewood office Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 and 4:30.
