Ladies - here are the documents describing the details of your presentation. Remember, more than a plain 'old power point this time.
Make sure you have 4 doodles on each page. At least 2 colors of notes (highlighters, pens, colored pencils) and your one sentence page summary. On your combination notes, do not copy word for word, read the slide and put it into your own words, images and colors.
When you finish the remainder of the notes, look on Google Docs and Symbaloo- I encourage you to make an account. You will have an online research project you will have to present and these two tools will make it easier to complete your work.
Simplicity Pattern Number 2685!
Fabric will be due April 20th. This project is going to be QUICK!!!!
We will be sharing patterns so just know that this will take some extra time. The patterns used will remain in the class. If you want your own, that is your choice and your expense. As always, please see me ASAP if you need help gathering materials!
We are making view D- you will need:
- 17" X 19"- 1 and 1/4" yard for the outside of the bag - needs to be a canvas or a duck cloth (Hobby Lobby has a big selection)
- Lining - 5/8 of a yard can be a cotton quilting weight fabric
- Interfacing - 5/8 yard medium weight fusible interfacing.
- The back of the pattern requires slightly different fabric weights and interfacing, but the combination I listed will probably be fine too and you can use interfacing that is fusible.
Here are some links you may peruse! Images for the bag!A Blog post written by someone who made this bag!A review of the pattern
Project #2 will be a special and quick project - you will need a t-shirt and jeans. You will change both! So make sure you are OK with completely changing it.
