Woodwinds

The five instruments in the woodwind family are: flute, piccolo, clarinet, saxophone, oboe, English horn, bassoon, and recorder
 
These instruments are divided into the following three groups: reeds, double, reeds, and flutes 
 
Reeds:

Saxophone
The four most commonly used saxophones are the soprano saxophone, alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, and baritone saxophone. 
Each instrument gets larger and sounds progressively lower.
