Reflexive verbs are verbs that end in -se like ducharse (to shower), and they are called reflexive verbs because they indicate that the subject is doing the action to themself like a mirror (reflection).
subject + reflexive pronoun + verb (conjugated) + rest of the sentence
Yo me Nosotros nos
Tu te Vosotros os
El se Ellos se
Ella se Ellas se
Usted se Ustedes se
*Verb- conjugated as it normally would be in present tense. Drop the -se ending and conjugate
-Remove -se before conjugating
-Reflexive noun goes before conjugated verb
-Stem changing verbs still change EXCEPT Nosotros & vosotros
For my first artefact I chose a review worksheet that Mrs. Thomas Lorenzo gave us to help us beter understand stem changing and reflexive verbs and this really helped me because it was confusing until I seen it in a sentence. My next artefact is a left hand assignment that is a foldable with stem changing words on the inside and this was to help me remember which words change. My last artefact is another left hand assignment that shows the sentence structure of reflexives and this is also to help me remember how to form sentences when using reflexives.
