The Phoenix Program is Great Salt Bay School's Gifted and Talented/Enrichment Program. The Program provides for the unique abilities, needs and interests of gifted and talented students. Services are provided at several different levels which include school wide enrichment, grade level and small group enrichment, accelerated classes, and  independent learning opportunities. The Program seeks to provide differentiated curriculum opportunities in lieu of regular curriculum in the areas of  literacy, math, science, social studies, and visual and performing arts. Program operations rely on the commitment and involvement of all parties involved, including classroom teachers, students, families, and members of the community. The Phoenix Program is flexible and multifaceted to meet students’ special needs and interests.
