The Antigonish Badminton Association has organized another exciting season of recreational and competitive Badminton.

Badminton is a great sport for all ages and provides…

• A great way to spend time and be physically active with family & friends of all ages.
• Provides great conditioning & cross training for other sports (hockey, soccer, basketball, football & volleyball)
• A highly competitive & athletically challenging sport

Did  you know…

• Badminton is one of the world's fastest racquet sports, requiring quick reflexes and superb conditioning.  In a badminton smash, the shuttle has been timed at speeds over 200 m.p.h. in top international competition.
  
  
• Badminton is a highly aerobic and anaerobic sport which can be played throughout one's lifetime.  In a typical two-game match, a player runs approximately 1.6KM or 1 Mile.

Each October kicks off the annual Antigonish Badminton membership/registration drive. Registration is open year round and new members are welcome to join at anytime by attending any of the weekly playtimes listed below and completing a membership registration form and paying the annual membership fee:

$40.00 Individual (Includes a T-Shirt)

$60.00 / Family (T-Shirts available for Order at $15/each)

Regularly weekly play times are scheduled from September to May:

Racquets, goggles, shuttles and skipping ropes are available for newcomers of all ages and abilities looking to try the sport for the first time.
