• Please Be Quiet in the hallways today and tomorrow while HS takes their Semester exams. Thank you!

• All student council students: meet with Mrs. Endsley during your lunch period for 5-10 min. To discuss the mid-year rewards. 6th at 10:50 in the courtyard. 7th & 8th in Ms. Folkert’s classroom 11:50.

• Mid-year Rewards: Each year, we have little rewards mid-year to celebrate and encourage students to keep working hard. We will hand-out popcorn during lunch o n Jan. 22 for students with perfect attendance. On Jan. 24th, we will have a hot chocolate bar for those nominated by their teachers with having good character. Jan. 27th will be candy for those on honor roll.

• FCCLA REMINDER: everyone in middle school FCCLA needs to bring in an old T-shirt that we could cut up to do a project during our January meeting. We will be making dog toys to donate to the Shelby County animal shelter.

• The 2nd Annual Rockets Writing Contest is underway. Students can enter a short story, poetry collection or illustrated editions of their entries. Prizes will be awarded to the top entries from each age group. See Mrs. Rivera for more information and to pick up an entry form. All entries are due on TODAY to the IMC

• Applications for Trackside Treats will be available in the school office. They would like the applications to be returned to them by the end of January.
