Interested in being a member of Student Council for the upcoming school year? Let your HR teacher know and prepare a short speech about why you would make a great SC member. Elections will be held during HR on Friday, September 6th! Good luck!
If you like concerts, especially Christian Rock music, you can catch the band Disciple for FREE at the Historic Sidney Theatre on Saturday, Sept. 7th at 7:00PM. This event is sponsored by Lift It Up, a music ministry.
All 8th graders and chaperones going on the DC Trip need to submit a T-shirt size by Sept. 6th. Please see the google form to submit your size (passwords will need reset first).
We will have a MS Assembly this Friday, Sept. 6th at 8:45 in the Aux. gym to talk about the handbook and kick-off a new ARR book theme for the school-year. All students are asked to bring their handbooks and a highlighter.
7th grade football lost to Delphos by a score of 8-6. Zach Osbourne caught a touchdown pass, recovered a fumble, and had an interception. The guy was a machine.
8th grade football defeated Delphos by a score of 14-8. Caleb Kenton fell on a fumble for a touchdown
Picture Day is Monday, Sept. 16th.
All 8th grade students, parents and chaperones are requested to attend a mandatory Washington D.C. meeting on Sept. 16th. Chaperones will meet from 6:45-8:00 in the band room, then all parents, chaperones, and students will meet at 8:00 in the auditorium.
Clubs/Important Dates:
FCCLA - 7th grade students interested in joining FCCLA will need to attend an informational meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 11th at 8:10 in Mrs. Wuebker’s classroom. The 8th grade meeting will be Friday, September 13th at 8:10.
6th grade band registration closes Monday, September 9th. Turn paperwork in to the main office. If you need papers, please email or see Ms. Bittner.
