    • 8th grader football players need to turn in their gear during their lift off period 5A on Thursday. 7th grade will do the same on Friday.

    • 8th grade Girls, if you are interested in attending the Edison State Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine) Expo, please sign up in Mrs. Larger classroom. We have been given a few additional days to register. Now you have till the end of the day this Wednesday (Oct. 16th) to sign up. The event takes place on November 15th.

    • The 7th grade football team lost to Coldwater last night. They finished their season with 5 wins and 3 losses. Cayle Wildermuth and Aiden Keller both had catches for 20 yards.

    • The 8th grade lost also, but Landynn Fogt scored a nice touchdown. The highlight of the game occured when Joey “Joe the Toe” Flynn kicked the first ever extra point in Anna middle school history. Joey kicked it through the uprights into the hearts of Anna Football fans everywhere.

    • Attention girls basketball players. There will be an open gym today after school in the auxiliary gym until 4:30. Also reminder that spirit orders are due October 20th.

    • There will be an open gym for 8th grade boys this Friday after school from 3:30-5:00 in Aux gym. Thanks!

    • Students: Our United Way Campaign will run Monday, Oct. 14th through Friday, Oct. 18th. The grade with the most money donated will win a corn-hole tournament. Our school goal is $300. Good Luck! Results as of Tuesday:

    • 6th Grade - $51.80

    • 7th Grade - $37.77

    • 8th Grade - $26.26

    • The 8th grade class will meet in the Auditorium tomorrow at 12:20 to talk about the D.C. Trip and pick-up your T-shirts.

    • Reminder to 7th and 8th grade girls basketball players, open gym will be Wednesday right after school in the auxiliary gym until 4:30. Also the spirit orders are due October 20th.

    • Any 7th or 8th grader interested in signing up for an FCCLA STAR Event can do so until November 1st. See Mrs. Wuebker for further details. Please go to Mrs. Wuebker’s classroom on Wednesday, Oct. 16th 1st period to learn more about STAR Events.

    • There will be a FREE mother-daughter self-defense class on Tuesday, October 29th from 6-8:00 in the Cafeteria. Stop by the office or message Mrs. Endsley to sign-up by Oct. 25th and get more details. (fliers will be passed-out in advisor classes this week)

    • The MS Science Olympiad team, first meeting will be Wednesday, Oct. 16, 7:30am. If you can’t make the meeting, please talk to Mrs. Larger beforehand. Congratulations to those selected, it’s an honor to be on the team!

    • Book Clubbers: Pick up your copy of Resistance in the IMC, and then begin reading:) We will meet Nov 13 to discuss it. Remember: There is a great audio recording of this book on Hoopla. See Mrs. Rivera or Mrs. Stutsman if you are interested in listening to it.
