  • 8th grade Student Council Members - meet Mrs. Endsley in the Swing Space right after announcements.

  • Good Luck to our Cross Country Teams as they travel to Botkins for an Invitational tomorrow.

  • Good Luck to our volleyball teams as they travel to Houston for tournament games.

  • Ernst Sporting Goods will be here on today during lunch periods to fit shoes and pass out the instructions for the online spirit packs for boys going out for basketball in grades 7-8.

  • Detentions will be held in Mrs. Hemmelgarn’s classroom today after school.

  • The 7th grade advisor classes are asked to show the video (see link and scroll down to “2019 Campaign Video”) right after announcements. The student council students will be stopping in to discuss the UW campaign during this period today and tomorrow.

  • Students: Our United Way Campaign will run Monday, Oct. 14th through Friday, Oct. 18th. The grade with the most money donated will win a corn-hole tournament. Our school goal is $300. Good Luck!

  • Bully Prevention Month...how can you help?

  • Challenge Others To Be Kind…. Make kindness go viral with an act of kindness and challenge friends and classmates to pay it forward with their acts of kindness.

  • There will be a FREE mother-daughter self-defense class on Tuesday, October 29th from 6-8:00 in the Cafeteria. Stop by the office or message Mrs. Endsley to sign-up by Oct. 25th and get more details. (fliers will be passed-out in advisor classes this week)

  • The MS Science Olympiad team has been selected. 31 students grades 6-9 were chosen based on academics, behavior and ability to work independently. The list of names is posted outside of Mrs. Larger’s room. Team members will receive an information packet by Friday. First meeting will be Wednesday, Oct. 16, 7:30am. If you can’t make the meeting, please talk to Mrs. Larger beforehand. Congratulations to those selected, it’s an honor to be on the team!

  • Book Clubbers: Pick up your copy of Resistance in the IMC, and then begin reading:) We will meet Nov 13 to discuss it. Remember: There is a great audio recording of this book on Hoopla. See Mrs. Rivera or Mrs. Stutsman if you are interested in listening to it.

  • 8th grade Girls, if you are interested in attending the Edison State Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine) Expo, please sign up in Mrs. Larger classroom by this Friday. It takes place on November 15th.
