    • Winter Sports pictures will be held tomorrow at 2:15, 3:15 and 3:30.

    • *** If you played a Fall Sport... you don't need them to attend again

    • Staff - we will have our staff meetings this week on Weds. after school and Thursday morning in Mr. Alhauser’s classroom.

    • Choir - you will need to leave (by bus) at 1:00 this Thursday for the Veteran’s Day Musical Program at the Elem. When the program is over, you will all walk back to school.

    • Attention Middle School Students! Student Council is sponsoring the first dance of the school year on Saturday, November 10th from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in the ELEMENTARY GYM. Cost is $5 and the theme is “Red, White, and Blue” in honor of Veteran’s Day. We are in need of snack and drinks. Please bring donations to Ms. Folkert’s room. Hope to see you there!

    • Congrats to Blaine Simpson, Anna Middle School 7th grader for winning “Honorable Mention” by submitting his photo essay celebrating Constitution Day! Constitution Day was September 17th and students all around the country submitted a photo essay to the Bill of Rights Institute in Arlington, VA. Blaine’s photo essay pics included The Spot, The Auto Vue Drive-In, The Chilly Jilly, B&K Rootbeer Stand, the Batting Cages, the Downtown Barber Shop, and a few others. Congrats again, Blaine!

    • Lego Robotics: Next Monday (11/12) after school and Tuesday morning and Tuesday after school (11/13).

    • Math Counts members will have their first meeting on Thursday, November 8th from 7:20 am - 8:00 am. Meetings will continue to take place on Thursday mornings up until the competition takes place.

    • There will be no Power of the Pen meeting this week.

    • 6th Grade Science Olympiad Club:Congratulations to the following 15 6th graders selected for the new SO Club: Iris Canan, Evangelina Davies, Kyle Edelmann, Victoria Heitkamp, Ava Henthorn, Madison Kipp, Brook Metzler, Jayson Muter, Makenna Pettus, Carson Pleiman, Tristan Platfoot, Abi Prenger, Drea Scheele, Abby Stroh, Colin Tomanelli

    • **The first meeting is Tuesday 11/13 from 3:15-4:15 in Mrs. Larger’s room.

    • Reminder for 7th-9th grade Science Olympiad Team:

    • Meetings are Wednesdays 7:15-8am and 3:15-4:30 in the MS Science Lab. Please attend at least one.

    • The book fair will NOT begin this week. It has been pushed-back to later this month.
