• • Wow, what a spell off between 6th grader, Lucinda Furgeson, and 7th grader, Andrew Wilson!!!! Congratulations to Lucinda for becoming the 2017 Anna Middle School’s Spelling Bee Champion. She was challenged by Andrew Wilson who became our 1st Runner-up, followed up by 2nd Runner-up, Liberty Davies and 3rd Runner-up, Lenna Rowland. It was a close and exciting race. Way to go all contestants for participating in this year’s Bee. Also, a big thank you goes out to the audience for being quiet and respectful during the Bee.

  • Students that are attending the We-Are-IT Event of December 8th should be getting information from their English Teacher during English class today. If you do not get a form be sure to contact Mrs. Littlefield at the end of the day.

  • There will be a call-out meeting today right after announcements in Coach Marino’s classroom for any 8th grade boy interested in going out for HS football. It should last about 10 min.

  • Good Luck to our girls basketball teams as they host Coldwater tonight for games starting at 5:00.

  • Lego Robotics: This is our final week before competition this coming Saturday so be prepared to focus and work hard. Please come to as many practices as possible.

  • Thursday: Morning practice from 7:00-7:55 and after school until 5:00. Friday: morning from 7:00-7:55 and after school until we are ready!!! Pizza party Friday night as we work to finalize.

  • During this holiday season we have many families in need. Please consider donating. :) The Middle School Student Council will be having a Canned Food Drive! The Canned Food Drive will run until 12/18. There are posters in the halls indicating what you can bring in. Please bring any and all canned food items along with other items listed on the posters. There is a contest! The HR who brings in the most items will win either a pizza party OR a donut breakfast!!

  • There will be a FCCLA meeting on Nov. 30th in Mrs. Wuebker’s room during 5C.
