    • On Saturday the girls basketball teams traveled to Marion Local. The 7th grade team won 43-30. Tanner Spangler had 15 points and Hope Bixler had 11. The 8th grade team won 47-33. Ella Doseck scored 18 and Riley Gadosh had 14.

    • Our Lego Robotics team will be selling “poptarts for puppies” and hot chocolate for $1 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30-8:10 in the cafeteria.

    • You can spread your love during the Valentine’s season by supporting the US troops. The Shelby County Junior Leaders are collecting items to create care packages to send to those on active duty away from their home during the holidays. You can drop the following items off to the OSU extension in Sidney by 4:00 today. Such items are: candy, fruit snacks, chips, cookies, crackers, beef jerky, deoderant, shampoo, socks, toothpaste, toothbrush, lotion, wet wipes, razors and shave cream.

    • If you’d like to donate snacks and drinks for the Feb. 17th dance, you can drop the items off in Ms. Folkert’s classroom.

    • The 8th grade VHS course will begin on today 6th period...those students need to report to the IMC

    • Mid-year rewards: we will recognize students for their efforts during the first half of the school-year. Those receiving honor roll both quarters will receive a small bag of popcorn during lunch on Tuesday. Those students with perfect attendance will receive cotton candy on Weds. during lunch. Those students chosen by their teachers for having great character (effort, attitude, or improved success) will receive a snow cone on Thursday during lunch.

    • We will have our winter Pep assembly on Thursday, Jan. 26th at 2:45 in the Big Gym.

    • School store is open until 8:40 today.

    • Good Luck to our girls basketball teams as they travel to Fairlawn tonight for games starting at 5:00.

    • Good Luck to our boys basketball teams as they host Covington tonight for games starting at 5:00.

    • Lil' Rocket Cheer: any sixth grade girls interested should please come to the office to pick-up a form.

    • The 6th grade will be traveling to the JC Theatre for a movie incentive day.
