    • The 7th grade boys basketball team won last night over covington 41-25 and the 8th also won 56-28.

    • Last night in girls basketball action at Fairlawn, the 7th grade team won 35-22. Lainey Reiss had 7 points. The 8th grade team won 45-20. Audrey Bensman and Amber Zimpfer each had 8 points.

    • There will be a MS FCCLA meeting this Thursday during 5C in Mrs. Wuebker’s classroom.

    • Interested in becoming a soccer referee for our youth soccer program this fall? Responsible applicants at l;east 14 years of age this calendar year, please stop by the office for certification information. The athletic booster’s pays for the certification course and you will also be paid to referee tha games. The next class is offered Feb. 4th in Lima and will hopefully be offered in July with dates to be announced at a later time.

    • Our Lego Robotics team will be selling “poptarts for puppies” and hot chocolate for $1 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30-8:10 in the cafeteria.

    • If you’d like to donate snacks and drinks for the Feb. 17th dance, you can drop the items off in Ms. Folkert’s classroom.

    • Mid-year rewards: we will recognize students for their efforts during the first half of the school-year. Those receiving honor roll both quarters will receive a small bag of popcorn during lunch today. Those students with perfect attendance will receive cotton candy on Weds. during lunch. Those students chosen by their teachers for having great character (effort, attitude, or improved success) will receive a snow cone on Thursday during lunch. 6th grade students council members will help pass out the popcorn at both lunches today. 7th grade student council will need to report to Ms. Folkert’s classroom tomorrow at 9:00 and 8th grade student council members will start at 10:00 on Thursday to make snow cones.

    • Students, please be sure to clean-up any messes..we should not have any popcorn left on the floor.

    • We will have our winter Pep assembly on Thursday, Jan. 26th at 2:45 in the Big Gym.

    • Lil Rocket Cheer: any sixth grade girls interested should please come to your office to pick one up

    • Our student spirit challenge for Tuesday's Boys Basketball game will be a green out. The more green you wear...the better.

    • All students wearing a green Anna shirt will get their name entered in a raffle to win a free Wendy's frosty. Students wearing their green Launch Pad t- shirts will earn two tickets to be entered to win. Ten spirit winners will be drawn before half-time of the Varsity game.
