  • The FCCLA STAR Event work day is cancelled for today. Students may stay after school on Wednesday January 8th to work if you are interested.

  • Reminder to all students: you need to use the crosswalk when the buses are loaded on the west side. No cutting in-between buses, NOR making short-cuts in front of the first and last bus by the crosswalk….walk between the

    • crosswalk only!

  • ALL MS students and staff need to report to the Auxiliary gym by 8:30 this morning. Sit in the bleachers and wait to be called for group pictures. Thank you!

  • The MS yearbook pictures will be held today. The schedule is as follows, starting at 8:30 in the Auxiliary Gym:

  • Attention 7th grade students: You are not allowed to go to your locker when you enter the building. You must go straight to the cafeteria and when the bell rings, then you are permitted to go to your locker.

  • 7th Grade Zumba has been rescheduled for Thursday, Jan. 9th. Bring gym gear!Last night the 7th grade basketball team lost to Jackson Center by a score of 18-15. Tayler Klosterman had 6 points. The 8th grade won 28-9. Brenna Cobb had 14 and Jenna Wolters added 8.

  • There will be a MS FCA luncheon (5C) this Friday, Jan. 10th in Mrs. Hemmelgarn’s classroom. Bring your lunch and join us for some fun and fellowship.

  • The School Store has moved to the hallway concession area by the special needs room. The store will open the week of January 6th!

  • The next FCA event will be held this Sunday, Jan. 12th from 6-7:30 in the cafeteria. All MS students are invited to attend for food, fun and fellowship.

  • Applications for Trackside Treats will be available in the school office. They would like the applications to be returned to them by the end of January.

  • There will be a meeting for all 7th grade students planning to on the 8th grade Washington D.C. Trip next Tuesday, January 14th at 8:00 PM in the Auditorium. K&K Tours will be here to speak with you and your parents about the trip details, cost and fundraising options. Please plan to attend this very informative meeting.

  • The 2nd Annual Rockets Writing Contest is underway. Students can enter a short story, poetry collection or illustrated editions of their entries. Prizes will be awarded to the top entries from each age group. See Mrs. Rivera for more information and to pick up an entry form. All entries are due on January 17th to the IMC

  • Pre-sale tickets are on sale for Anna Boys Basketball “Flyin’ to the Hoop” game vs Ottoville — Monday, January 20th (MLK Day) @ 3:00 pm ; Adults - $18 and Students - $10 (Limited #) See Athletic Dept. if interested
