  • Are you interested in entering the 1st Annual Rockets Writing Contest? If so, please see Mrs. Rivera or any of the English teachers for contest information. All entries are due by Jan. 7, 2019.

  • Recently, the school store has been open everyday. This will continue after Christmas break, but now the school store will be selling fruit, in addition to its typical items. Each available fruit will cost 25 cents, but it’s free if you buy any other item in the school store.

  • Book Club: January 9 in the IMC during lunch. We’ll be discussing Hidden Figures.

  • Math Counts - Next Thursday morning (1/10) at 7:20 we will have the team competition practice in Mrs. McMahon’s room. I need ALL participants to come to this meeting if you want to be able to compete in Lima in February. We will also be doing the rest of the individual competitions on the following days:

  • Thurs 1/10 After School until 4:00

  • Mon 1/14 After school until 4:00

  • Continuing Thursday mornings at 7:20

  • Sci. Oly. Team - Good luck to the Sci. Oly. Team as they compete in the Northmont Invitational this Saturday! Team, be at school at 6am. Remember all your supplies. Packing meeting is 3:15-4:15pm Thursday (today).

  • 6th gr Sci. Oly. Club - Tues. Jan. 8, 3:15-4:15 pm

  • Student Council- next meeting is Tuesday, January 8th @ 7:45 a.m. in Ms. Folkert’s room

  • Power of the Pen- will meet on Fridays in January in the IMC.
