    • Soccer Weight-lifting is CANCELLED for tonight.

    • 7th grade boys basketball team won last night at Covington 38-14. The 8th grade team also won 33-17.

    • FCCLA members, there will be a meeting on Tuesday January 30th during 5c in Mrs.Wuebker’s room. Please plan on attending.

    • Last night in girls basketball action the 7th grade team defeated Fairlawn 33-15. Taylor Poeppelman had 14 points and Abbie McEldowney added 12. In the 8th grade game Kayli Brewer had 11 points to lead the team to a 54-17 victory.

    • Mid-year rewards: every year, we like to reward students for having good grades, excellent attendance and demonstrating good character. Today, all students who have received honor roll for the first semester will receive a bag of popcorn during their lunch periods. Tomorrow, students who have had demonstrated good character will be able to come to Ms. Folkert’s classroom during their lunch period (preferable after you’ve eaten) to get a snow cone, and then on Thursday students who have had perfect attendance will be able to come to Ms. Folkert’s classroom for a bag of cotton candy. The names (see link below) will be posted across from Ms. Folkert’s classroom on the bulletin board.

    • 8th grade girls going out for soccer this fall as Freshman “ Weight lifting Tuesday & Thursday 4pm – 5pm

    • The next Middle School Dance will be held Saturday, February 17th from 7-9:30 in the aux gym. We are in need of snacks and drinks. Please bring your donations to Ms. Folkert’s room. Thanks!

    • Science Olympiad: we have an invitational in Centerville this Saturday 1/27. Meetings this week will be:Wednesday 7:15 - 8 am and 3:15-4:30 pmFriday 7:15-8 am and 3:15-4 pm for packing up supplies.Saturday, be at school at 6 am

    • Ski Club- Ski Club will have our next meeting in Milliette on Wednesday, January 24th @ 7:45am. Please plan to attend this meeting if you are going skiing on Monday, February 5th. Cost for HS students is $45 and cost for MS students is $41. YOU MUST ATTEND THE MEETING IN ORDER TO GO ON THIS TRIP! If you have your own equipment it will be $24 less. See Ms. Folkert with questions. ALSO, if you take a lesson ($13 for an hour) you will be entered into a drawing for a gift card!!! START SAVING NOW SO YOU CAN JOIN US!

    • MS Book Club will meet next week on January 25th during lunch in the IMC.

    • The week the Power of the Pen will meet during lunch on Friday.

    • Track Side Treats is now accepting applications for the upcoming season. The applications can be found in the high school office.
