• • Congratulations to the Math Counts Team for taking 2nd place at the Math Counts Competition on Saturday in Lima. There were nine schools that competed: ANNA MIDDLE SCHOOL, ALLEN EAST LOCAL SCHOOLS, BELLEFONTAINE MIDDLE SCHOOL, COLDWATER JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL, ELIDA MIDDLE SCHOOL, FORT JENNINGS LOCAL SCHOOL, JACKSON CENTER LOCAL SCHOOL, OTTOVILLE MIDDLE SCHOOL, and SHAWNEE MIDDLE SCHOOL.

  • The team round consisted of Isaac Edelmann, Grant Wolters, Lauren Thornhill and Courtney DuLaney. Isaac also placed 9th in the individual round and Grant placed 12th in the individual round out of 50 students. It was a great year and Mrs. Endsley and Mrs. McMahon are very proud of the students who participated in Math Counts Club, as well as the competition team!

  • The Math Counts Club will have their end of the season pizza party today in Mrs. McMahon’s classroom right after school until 4:15.

  • The Power of the Pen team had a great day of learning about writing and refining their skills on Saturday at the “Just Write!” event hosted at Anna. Their next competition is March 24 at Ft. Loramie.

  • MS Book club will be meeting next week on Thursday, March 1 in the IMC during lunch.

  • Tuesday Feb.20th will be Wednesday Feb. 21st menu and Wednesdays menu will be Tuesday’s menu. This is due to the FFA having their pizza party for the entire FFA plus additional 33 high school students being out.

  • Anybody that needs a new yearbook form can come and see Mr. Bruce.

  • Science Olympiad: meetings are Wed. 7:15 - 8am and 3:15 - 4:30pm. PLEASE WORK ON YOUR EVENTS ON YOUR OWN ALSO! Regional competition is March 17, there is lots to do!

  • Last day to submit Week 2’s Olympic Trivia question! You get candy if you are chosen and have the correct answer!! Winners will be announced on Monday.
